Lover's Lane - Engagement - San Francisco
Some locations just feel like they were made for. love stories, and Lover's Lane in /san /Francisco is definitely one of them. Isabela and Ferguson's engagement session was nothing short of magical - an afternoon filled with soft golden light, crisp autumn air, and a sky that ended in the most breathtaking display of cotton-ball clouds.
Lover's Lane is one of my favorite spots for couples because no matter the weather, it always delivers stunning photos. And for these two, it was the perfect setting. Their session was fun, effortless, and a beautiful reflection of their quiet, intimate connection.
If you know me, you know that one of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer is hearing how couples met. It's the rom-com lover in me! I love seeing how two lives come together, and with Isabela and Ferguson, their dynamic was so sweet and natural.
Isabela is shy and reserved, not much of a talker, while Ferguson is an adventurous, outdoorsy guy - but also incredibly shy! At first, I could tell they were a little nervous in front of the camera, but once we started chatting about outdoor adventures (a passion we happen to share!), Ferguson relaxed, and the whole session flowed beautifully.
We started at Lover's Lane, walking along the winning path surrounded by towering trees, capturing quiet moments between them. The way they looked at each other, the soft smiles, the subtle hand touches - it was all so natural and heartfelt.
Then, we made our way to one of the best Golden Gate Bridge viewpoints, just in time for sunset. The sky was showing off, with dreamy cotton-ball clouds.I was the perfect ending to an already incredible session.
I absolutely love how these photos turned out-raw, real, and filled with love.
